Using Studio

Studio is Router9's workbench for creating with the product, not the API: Images and Video as named tools, projects that keep what you make together, and an Explore wall of published work for inspiration.

Getting Started

Anyone can open Studio and browse it, including the Explore wall. Generating asks you to sign in first — with Google or email — and whatever you had typed is kept for when you come back. From then on every image and video spends credits from your plan's allowance.

Projects

Everything you make in Studio belongs to a project. Images and Video share the same list of projects — switch between them without losing track of what you were working on, and each generation, edit, and iteration stays with the project it belongs to instead of scattering across separate threads.

Switch Models Mid-Project

Studio doesn't lock you into one model. Pick whichever is newest, best, or most cost-effective for what you're making, and switch at any point in a project — the same subscription covers all of them.

Explore

Explore is a wall of real work other Router9 users have published. Browse it for inspiration, or as a starting point for your own project.

Your Work

Each project keeps what it holds in two places, both in the sidebar once you are signed in:

• Works — every image, video and audio clip generated or uploaded into the project, from Studio or from your harness.
• Uploaded — only the photos and frames you handed it, not what it made from them.

Anything made without picking a project lands in Unsorted, your default project. You can rename it like any other project, but not delete it — deleting another project moves its images and videos there. In the Images or Video workbench, select several pieces to download them together.

Using the Same Plan From an Agent

Studio and the API share one subscription. If you outgrow the UI, or want the same models available to an agent or coding CLI, see Quick Start to connect over the API.

Filing an agent's work into a project

What an agent generates with your key lands in the same projects, so it shows up under Works next to what you made in Studio. List your projects to get their ids:

Then pass one as project_id to the image, video and speech endpoints. Over MCP, the project_list tool returns the same list and the generating tools take the same project_id. Leave it out and the result lands in your default project. Creating, renaming and deleting projects stays in Studio.
